"The hotel is beautiful. It is a completely renovated textile mill. Whoever designed and decorated should win an award. Except for the bathroom. I know open concept is a thing, but the room we stayed in has the out in the open. There is no privacy. This would be a couples only hotel. Not when you are traveling with your family or friends. Otherwise it’s a great place."

"I reserved a room with a book now, pay at the motel with free cancellation. Cancellation had to be done the night before the stay. A family emergency occurred the day before my trip and I foegot to call. The day of my trip, before 10 am. attempted to cancel through Expedia. Baymont refused to allow cancellation and keep my $250. So instead of allowing cancellation out of good graces, this large hotel chain decided it was better to keep my money and get a one star rating and assure I will never stay there while in town. Big corporations have no soul or the people who work for them."

"The room was clean but I had no lights aside from a few desk lamps, one of which was making electrical noises and flickering. The shower was clean but the shelf inside was not level and my soap kept sliding off. In addition the shower pressure was terrible. Otherwise everything was fine."
