Take a sip of a calming beverage from the balcony while soaking in the ocean, the lush green, the sparkling pool, and the tropical gardens of North Coast Village. All these sights are right in your living room and balcony. After a day of exploring or soaking up the sun and surf, Turquoise Beach is the perfect place to unwind. The living room is mirrored, giving you gorgeous views of the ocean from the kitchen, dining room, and living area. It’s comfortably furnished with a queen sofa bed and two chairs, and has a charming granite fireplace. The kitchen has been beautifully remodeled with granite countertops and is equipped with all the essentials - dishes, pots, pans, cooking utensils, a dishwasher, microwave, blender, and coffee pot. Make My Vacation takes care of everything - linens, towels, beach chairs, and beach towels. They’ve even provided a TV for your entertainment and free wireless Internet. As you walk through the staffed secure gate to North Coast Village you are transported to a tropical oasis reminiscent of the Costa Rican Rain Forest. Running streams, waterfalls, lush foliage, and Koi meander through the spacious grounds of this resort-like beachfront condominium complex in Oceanside California. You will notice the crystal clear heated pool and spa, gleaming barbecues, convenient picnic tables, sand rinsing stations to remove the lingering beach. If you need a break from sun and surf, you might enjoy a game of pool, a jog on a treadmill in the exercise room, a little ping pong, or a sauna. Feeding our giant Koi is a simple pleasure not to be missed during your Oceanside visit. When you venture through the back gates, you find yourself on one of North San Diego County’s finest beaches: broad and flat, with fire rings, volleyball, and great surf breaks - right out back! To the north, you can walk or bike to Oceanside’s busy little harbor for a bite to eat or some boating, and to the south, you can venture down the strand to southern California’s longest pier for some fishing (no license needed). North Coast Village is close enough to walk to everything near the beach, so your car can stay in its secure underground parking spot - especially convenient when beach parking becomes a premium in the summer. Security was on site 24/7 and often seen patrolling. Beach is easily accessible from community. You can also walk the .5 miles to the harbor. Check out the fish and chips place on the lower level (delish) and the place offering Baja buckets (seafood not booze). The drawbacks: not a ton and very minor. Some things needed some minor updating in the community (such as broken foosball stick). Also Be aware that gym doesn’t allow anyone under 14 even with supervision and community rev room 14 is allowed with adult supervision. However, this property overlooks the pool which is open until 11:00 PM, so it's extremely noisy in the evening which is difficult if you're trying to rest or relax. ##### Debra H. Enjoyed having the beach right outside the gate. Nice morning walks and workout in the gym. Pool was cleaned everyday. The apartment has everything you needed to cook and eat in.
