Good bargain, for us anyway. The room and bathroom floor had an awful residue unfortunately. Cold AC and great bed!

We were in San Antonio for a graduation and stayed 4 days. I had read the reviews for the hotel and the only thing really negative was concerning the parking. I called the hotel before I booked with my concerns about the parking. I was told that I didn't have to valet park at the hotel because there was plenty of parking all around the hotel. Where this was true, it was very deceiving because parking anywhere in the area was $25 or higher! There was no in and out parking in the other parking areas, so you had to pay the return. So yes, it ended up being cheaper to pay the $42 a day parking at the hotel. I was disappointed because we were there last year and parked across the street from the hotel we were staying at and only paid less than $20 per day and was able to go in and out whenever. I now see where they make their money. Anyway, where the parking was an issue for me, the hotel itself was not. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent for visiting the Riverwalk. It felt so good to be within walking distance to anything we wanted. Let me not forget about the plethora of food for breakfast! That definitely is the highlight of this hotel. We will definitely keep this hotel in mind when we return for a visit. I will know up front to prepare for the parking fees. You will not be disappointed with this hotel.
