"This cottage was the perfect home base for our week away - quiet, private, scenic, comfortable. The one small bathroom might be a bit of an issue with four or more people, but for two of us it was very ample. I'm still enjoying the screened-in porch in recollection - a sweet spot indeed. And we found plenty of exploration to do on the island all week (the trails at the international park were a standout, especially the bog trail and the coastal lookouts). You might want to bring your own condiments, spices, and cooking oils if you plan to cook, but the kitchen has everything you would want in the way of equipment (and a beautiful view of the water too). We loved staying there and will definitely hope to return again in future."

"This property was very beautiful as was the hospitality of Magdela. We would highly recommend staying here. The tranquility mixed with solitude was exactly what my wife and I were looking for. Finding so many beach treasures was the biggest highlight for us each. Especially the red and blue seaglass pieces, along with rose , brown , white , aqua, turquoise , and green. "We had a wonderful stay at Whale of a View. We had an amazing view and spent hours watching eagles catching fish from the decks. Cozy house with everything we needed. The owner is very nice and called to check in with us as a major storm was approaching. Everything was amazing and we are looking forward to coming back!"

"My boys and I had a great visit. Such a beautiful place inside and out. Before we were even off the island my son asked to come back next summer! Host was great and helpful. We did think there was one more bedroom than there was but that may have been how I read the description. All in all we had a great trip."

"Excellent communication from hosts. They really went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Anything we needed they provided and invited us to join them for a bonfire on our first night in town. Learning about the local culture, where to go, what to see and do on this little island property was amazing and very helpful. The cabin is only 3 yrs old, very clean, very well equipped and cozy. Short walk to the ocean and a short drive to stores. The sunrises and tides are impressive here. Sunset viewing is only a 15 min drive away with spectacular views across the Bay of Fundy toward Maine. Having the owners next door was an asset because they were accessible for any needs or advice. It was not a hinderance at all and you wouldn't know if they were home or not because they were quiet and left us alone. A great place to stay and very gracious hosts. Worth coming back to!"
