« From booking process to communication in the lead up to our arrival to the moment we arrived at this stunning cottage along a tiny little lane, lots of greenery and a lovely little stream. Gary welcomed us and made us feel very welcome indeed and was helpful throughout our stay with local information and even lent us his binoculars for possible whale watching of the coast. Perfect cottage for 2 people and 2 dogs - the garden is completely enclosed - no holes for our dogs to escape. Small touches...

« The property is a small beach cottage that is perfect for a couple or a couple with 1-2 small kids. Walkable to center of town with co-op grocery and laundry facility less than 5 min away. Parking space is nearby and situated such that it is easy to use your car to explore Cornwall. Only thing I would say is that shower is small and ceilings low so this place would feel tight if you are a large person and some of the layout is a bit tricky if you were older and less sure footed. « We spent a lovely week in Frogapits, despite it raining every day! The cottage is fantastic, centrally located to local pubs and restaurants, and within easy travel to many local attractions. Beautiful garden and really enjoyed the wood log burner for cozy evenings in. »

Only a couple of moans, there was no welcome pack to say what time the pub was open etc, no paperwork for the tv and we weren't told there is wifi, when bookings it said no wifi! Some of the plastic utensils were so bendy they couldn't really do their job properly ie potato masher and serving spoons!! Apart from that everything was great. »

« We really enjoyed the peace and quiet in the country. A wonderful apartment for two, with everything we needed. Even everything for Cornish cream tea was ready. Sue explained everything in a friendly manner. Most people probably overlook the driveway to the property when they arrive. But with so few houses, it's still possible. « Wouldn’t recommend at all. Firstly, the accommodation is based on a camp site which is not made clear on the website. The specific area is ok but all a bit run down. The garden in the pictures is shared between all cottages and despite stating pet friendly has a sign saying “don’t let dogs on grass” So yes dogs can stay in cottages but not sure where else they can go? We arrived and our first cottage absolute stunk of damp. We had to be moved and the second cottage was ok. Definitely not 4*...

« Birdsong was exactly as described and had everything you needed for your stay. The bedrooms were so quirky and different, loved them. Sadly the weather wasn't on our side so we didnt get to sit in the beautiful garden. The cream tea was an added treat, thank you Jane. Would absolutely love to visit again in the future. »

« Just returned from a family holiday, an amazing cottage and location. A great base for discovering the wonders of Cornwall, an easy drive to St Ives, Penzance and Bude to name a few. « Such a beautiful, comfortable cottage, they really have thought of everything thing here. Beautifully decorated with the perfect blend of comfort and style and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Perfect location for peace and quiet but 2 minutes into the main town. The gate at the front was an added bonus for us with dogs because we could have the doors open without the worry of them running out .I absolutely cannot find anything to fault about this property...

« Fantastic property, very clean and beautiful decorated. It is well stocked with equipment. It has a secure back garden with decking and grass. Ideal for our dog. There is outdoor seating in the garden and it is private. The property is in good location not to near the Town centre but you can easily walk into the Town. I Highly recommend this property. »

« Cannot wait to return, absolutely wonderful stay, we loved the lodge, the amenities, the hot tub and luxurious beds. Having a choice of pools was fabulous for us and the restaurant breakfast was superb. Just had the most relaxing and enjoyable time at Una- many thanks! »

« Great place for a family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and games room were well used. The house is bright, modern and comfortable. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink....
