Splurged on this gem of a castle walking distance to some nice pubs. The room was amazing. From the small cross windows to the deep bath tub and high bed. It was amazing to stay in a castle!

The hotel was very cozy and was very close to the train station, Abbey, and Roman Baths.

Nice comfortable bed lovely location and great food offerings. Beautiful outdoor sitting areas with covered patios and fireplaces.

The motel was clean and the staff were very friendly. We requested particular type of pillow and these were provided. Sheets and bed were great. Room was a bit on the small side and space for storing clothing was limited - could easily put a small chest of drawers in the corner by the window. Wash basin in the hallway was a bit inconvenient. Had a great stay and would definitely go back.

So many of the staff we encountered were wonderfully welcoming and seemed happy to have us there. The food was of the utmost quality and even after a week, we hadn't tried all the breakfast options. On a map, the hotel appears not to be in the centre of things, and, while this is true, I was glad of it. It was usually no more than a 5-10 minute walk to anything that interested us but, beyond that, this meant we slept on a very quiet street with no exterior noise permeating the walls. This is...

We really enjoyed our recent stay at the Kennard Hotel. It was perfectly situated for visiting the Roman Baths, for walking tours of the beautiful Georgian architecture and the owners were very forthcoming with helpful advice. The beds are very comfortable and the breakfast excellent.

Lovely and unique property with so much character! The host was very kind, accommodating and knowledgeable, and provided wonderful information about the history of the property itself and the local area. Good boutique hotel in central location in Bristol. Historic building with welcoming atmosphere. Food in the restaurant very good, service staff could benefit from some training but very friendly. Would recommend and return.

This is a great hotel. We were in Bath for one night so it was a quick stay but really glad we chose the Apex. It was clean, modern, and the service was great. I’d definitely return.
