Charming & cosy Cairngorms retreat for 2 - The Bakehouse, Newtonmore
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (2)
"The Bakehouse was as described and it was spotless and well equipment with lovely attention to detail. Newtonmore is an ideal location for exploring the highlands. The village has all the amenities you will need to enjoy your stay. The local hotels do not allow dogs in side but we were able to have drinks outside and we had a lovely meal at the Glen Hotel (outside with the dog). We also had a smashing sunday roast at the McInnes House Hotel in Kingussie (Dog friendly). Our hosts couldn't have...

"Absolutely lovely single-bed home in the Scottish Highlands. Very easy to find and conveniently located within short walking distance of the town's petrol station and their train station. The roil-top bath is fantastic, and everything stocked was to a high standard. Brilliant hosts - texted through a few local events that were of interests and were available easily if I needed them, but the place was perfect, so I didn't. Really eco-friendly stay as well. Highly recommended for a solo trip or...

9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (17)
"We had a lovely stay here in the Einich. The couple of things that let it down were some small housekeeping issues. They didn't detract from our stay as we rectified them quickly. Just some build up of dust, some of the kitchen ware was dirty, sink plugs dirty and bins in bathrooms hadn't been emptied. However the house didn't feel dirty at all, just a few things missed. In general it was a lovely house, fully stocked with all you needed. It was warm, welcoming and cosy. It was deceptive in...

Large 7-bedroom Scottish house sleeping up to 15 in beautiful Highlands setting

"Great location. House manager very helpful. Good house but problems with electrics and plumbing. When we booked the accommodation listed that there were showers located within the house......this was not the case none of the showers worked. When we reported this we were advised that the booking agent should have told us as you had been made aware of the issue....This was a problem as we had 2 elderly people (86 years old) who could not dafely get in and out of the deep baths. I am disappointed...
