"In addition to a great location in proximity of Newport Beach, the property itself had many amenities, excellent staff and excellent food options from grab and go to fine dining. It was great fun to see families playing chess and friends around the fire pits at night. I’ll stay again on business or pleasure. "
"I feel very fortunate to have booked this hotel—it was my first time staying here, and I couldn’t have made a better choice. The location is excellent, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our room, overlooking the pool, was spacious, quiet, and very comfortable.
We stayed just one night on our way to Catalina Island, but I truly regretted not booking a longer stay at the Balboa Bay Resort. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or a fun family trip, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area."

"Great location. Nearby bicycle rentals, restaurants and electric boat rentals. Surfing at Blackies beach just north of Newport pier 1.5 miles from home. Comfortable for our large group. The air conditioner worked for us (keep windows and doors closed when A/C is on.)"

"The condo is very spacious and exceptionally located. Wonderful corner unit right on the beach bike path/promenade. It’s very well equipped and has everything you could want in a beach unit. Very large balcony perfect for enjoying the outdoors and people watching. Also great are the included beach chairs, boogie boards etc. Hosts are very gracious and accommodating. Highly recommend!!"

"This is a great location for families. Our 1 year old grandson loved the beach, grassy area and playground. We have rented in Newport/Balboa a lot, and this was the most well equipped kitchen yet. The only drawbacks were that the garage wasn’t deep enough for my Traverse, but my daughter’s RAV4 did fit, and the coin laundry is kind of inconvenient especially considering the cost of the rental.If you want to spend a lot of time in the water you may want to look closer to 15th street. The sand berm the city has built up in this section of the beach makes swimming/body surfing difficult. "
"This is a beautiful home located on the strand overlooking the beach. It's on the corner providing even more open area. The view from the second floor is magnificent. The location near so many great restaurants. The house is well stocked with utensils, coffee, tea, and many other of the comforts of home. The management is fantastic, very accommodating and responsive. All in all one of the best vacations."
