Have stayed at this hotel before because of its proximity to Penn Station. Overall it is an ok hotel but for what I paid this time I was not bowled over. Had a two night stay with a family member in a very small room with two queen/full beds. Tight quarters with two people. Bathroom door heavy and very noisy to close. Shower mechanism sounded like it was stuck and was very noisy too. They seem to have made an outside gathering area right under the window of our room with a video screen and tables. Well needless to say the noise, till past midnight, was not a benefit for hotel guests trying to sleep. LOUD. Complimentary coffee iced cold at 8:30 in the am. And on Tuesday night when we went to get a cab my guest was nearly severely injured when he stepped off the curb right outside the hotel into a BIKE path with bikers going very high speeds. Could have been a disaster for both parties. Bike paths are wonderful idea but in crazy NY not so much. The problem is there is no warning. And there were multiple vehicles parked in front of your hotel too making it impossible to see traffic. I am not sure why they were all parked there and therefore making it difficult to get a cab. The point is I am a NYer but not familiar with the bike path situation and I myself found it to be very dangerous for unknowing guests just trying to hail a cab. You should have someone out there to help with a cab and the dangerous situation.

Overall it was a decent place but not for how much it cost. Very noisy at night and the bar/restaurant in the hotel has weird hours. Couldn’t enjoy an afternoon drink or late night drink due to the hours. The room was very small and just okay.

Overall, the hotel was nice and boutiquey. However, when we got to our room the safe, ipad to control the room and TV wasn't working. The staff was very attentive when we brought it up and were able to fix the safe and TV. The linen change was a little disappointing as the towels we received had makeup on them. Overall the location was great and so was the vibe. It just didn't feel like a 4 star room to me.
