Nestled between the Shawangunk Ridge and Hudson Valley, this charming town offers rock climbing routes and hiking trails with spectacular mountain views. Wander through historic Huguenot Street's stone houses before sampling local wines along the Shawangunk Wine Trail that winds through nearby farms.
We’re currently on a road trip and had one night booked at the Heartwood. If we didn’t have prior commitments elsewhere, we would have stayed here longer. The room was great, beds comfortable , the staff were helpful and friendly & the food at the restaurant was delicious. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was lovely but the wifi. Really unreliable and weak. I heard from others that service in the area was not good. My telephone could barely get a signal from the service that my home provider (videotron, excellent) uses in the US : T-Mobile. I got one bar at best. The wifi of the hotel never worked at all. (I didn’t report it or ask for help, we were just there for one night…)
