The Blake Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The place to stay whike visiting Yale art museums."
"Amazing stay, great view and comfortable accommodations. Only complaint is lower floors are subject to street noise which is out of the hotel’s control. Would 100% stay here again when returning to New Haven"
"We had a great stay. The entire venue and room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The check in and check out process was efficient. We would definitely stay again."
"Great option for a New Haven visit. We had a beautiful view of the Yale campus from our room. Excellent breakfasts! Bar looked inviting, too. Comfortable beds and bathrooms. Highly recommend."
Hotel Marcel New Haven, Tapestry Collection By Hilton
10/10 Excellent
"Okay, not going to lie, when my husband and I pulled up to this hotel I had to double check that we were at the right address. The outside of the hotel looks like it could’ve been an old prison, and it’s literally in the same parking lot as an IKEA and overlooks an express way.
However - don’t judge a book by its cover. This hotel is amazing and probably one of the nicer hotels we’ve ever stayed at. The inside is extremely modern, clean, well kept, and beautiful. The room was spacious and extremely clean. Best bathroom and shower. The room is controlled by a smart device so you can operate the lights, A/C, etc easily. Smart TV has streaming apps. And lots of outlets, USB ports, etc.
Great lobby bar and restaurant as well.
Location about 5-10 minute drive or bike ride (hotel offers free bike rentals) from main New Haven attractions."
