Charming Colonial for Events! – Perfect for Family Reunions and Group Getaways!

"We rented this home for our daughter’s college graduation and were fully transparent with the owner beforehand. Although the listing allows up to 15 guests, we never exceeded 14 people, and the gathering was simply close family, including grandparents and young children. There was no party or disruptive behavior.Around 10:30 PM on graduation night, the owner began repeatedly messaging me, saying he was “watching the house” and accusing us of violating the rental agreement. The constant, late messages was intrusive and inappropriate and took away from what should have been a joyful evening.After checkout, the owner tried to charge me over 2,000 despite no damage to the property. The only issue was a stain on one comforter, which we washed before leaving. He later sent a video asking how I planned to pay while simultaneously filing an insurance claim, and I later learned the insurance company had already reimbursed him. His wife also sent me a very rude, disrespectful and unprofessional text after our stay.We respected the occupancy limits, cared for the home, and left it in excellent condition. Unfortunately, the excessive monitoring and aggressive communication made the experience stressful and disappointing. I will never do business with this owner again."

"I stayed here with my daughter for one night. We were really impressed with the cleanliness and the beds were very comfortable. I really think it may have been the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed at! We also really loved that they had a smart tv (Roku). The only one small thing is that I wish had checked in on my phone prior to arriving. I had to call for help but the person I spoke with was very helpful and got me checked in pretty quickly. If I'm ever in the area, I would definitely stay here again! I would also like to check out the restarant next door."

"Really disappointed in this booking. It was rated as “good” on Expedia and it was not good in any capacity. I came to Connecticut for my nephews graduation and all the other hotels were booked up. We arrived and our room smelled AWFUL. It smelled like people had been smoking in it for days combined with a chemical smell from them probably trying to cover the smell with cleaning products. The room also had black mold around the sink. After complaining, they switched our room to one that didn’t smell god awful, but there was evidence of dead bugs and ticks all over the floor. The bathroom door was broken and wouldn’t close right. The towels were dingy. Never again"
