"My husband and I like to stay at places where we can experience how local people live. This VRBO did not disappoint us in that regard. (Our only struggle was getting our mid-sized SUV rental into the space--sharp turns and narrow road--but we managed with Julie's assistance. By the way, the VRBO space is to the left in the picture below.) Speaking of space, the outdoor patio was wonderful for basking in the sun. The interior space was simple but large enough for our needs. Yes, the bed was firm but not hard, and conforms to typical European mattress standards. (You will see from the picture below that we do not make the bed while on holiday!) Julie was very helpful with information for tourism in St. Remy and the surrounding areas (She does not speak English, but French and Spanish. The Google Translate app is helpful.) We would stay there again, but rent a much smaller car! ;]"

"The hotel was in a great location within town. I had one of the Suites which was so spacious and lovely. I would have given it a 5 based on the room itself. The downside was that my room was overlooking an Irish pub which was always crowded and noisy after 8p and stayed open until 12:30am. I used earplugs which worked fine."

"We had an amazing stay. This is the first time I have stayed at a place where the pictures did not do the property justice. The property was so much better in person. Our Host was extremely communicative and helpful. She left us with several restraunt recommendations of which we loved. The property itself was well equipped with everything you could need including a washer and dryer and it's own parking spot. It was situated so well to everything in the town we were able to park the car and just walk. Is is very close to the Van Gogh art walk. We day tripped to lots of towns nearby and were still back to enjoy our evenings at the property. Both the indoor and outdoor space was amazing. Will definitely come back to stay again."

"We couldn’t have asked for a better home base for our family of four. The farmhouse was exactly the right size — stairs were a bit treacherous for a 3 year old but he quickly learned to always ask for help before coming down them. The yard and meadow stretching behind the house were the real highlights: our toddler spent hours among the butterflies and wildflowers, with that beautiful Provençal greenery in every direction. The house was thoughtfully stocked — plenty of towels, cleaning supplies, and a kitchen ready to cook in, with olive oil, spices, and coffee already waiting. All the beds were soft and plenty of pillows as well. On cool mornings, the wood pellet stove did a wonderful job warming the whole house, which made those slow breakfast hours especially cozy.Our host Genevieve was warm, responsive, and genuinely invested in our stay. She even arranged a babysitter so my partner and I could have a night out in Saint-Rémy — that kind of above-and-beyond hospitality is rare and we were so grateful.AC kept the house perfectly cool on warmer days, WiFi was reliable, and the location struck that elusive balance: a quick drive into town but utterly quiet and peaceful. We’d return in a heartbeat."
