"The hotel was in a great location within town. I had one of the Suites which was so spacious and lovely. I would have given it a 5 based on the room itself. The downside was that my room was overlooking an Irish pub which was always crowded and noisy after 8p and stayed open until 12:30am. I used earplugs which worked fine."

"VillaNova was a lovely place to stay for 4 nights and if we had the time I would have liked to stay longer. Everything we needed was there plus a lot of little extras. It was spacious and clean and quiet. Another great thing was its location. We were just a few minutes walk from the heart of St. Remy and were able to get around fine without a car. Our host was very responsive and gave us great instructions and directions. The WiFi was also good. "Lovely little cottage within easy walking distance to the main village. The cottage was very well equipped, it had everything we needed to cook meals and all the equipment was good quality, clean and working. It was a very large unit and very comfortable with absolutely everything we needed. The large courtyard in front of the cottage was the perfect place to chill out after a busy day and a peaceful place to eat breakfast and dinner. A well stocked U Tile supermarket was an easy 5 min walk away & next door to the supermarket was a fabulous gourmet deli with ready made meals. There are also loads of restaurants within easy walking distance. Our only negatives were that the car park and driveway that was only suitable for a very small car - this was not described in the add. We hired a small car and chose this place because of the car park yet we were unable to use the car park due to the very narrow entrance and tiny car park. There is a public car park only 7 min walk away, over a gravel path which was a bit of a hassle to pull the suitcases. Not the end of the world but a bit of a pain. Our 2nd negative was that the shower head was broken and not able to be used - we needed to hold it to use it. Hopefully this will be fixed for the next guests. Also, just be aware that Julie the host, does not speak a word of English, so have your google translate at the ready for check in if you are not French. "

"We couldn’t have asked for a better home base for our family of four. The farmhouse was exactly the right size — stairs were a bit treacherous for a 3 year old but he quickly learned to always ask for help before coming down them. The yard and meadow stretching behind the house were the real highlights: our toddler spent hours among the butterflies and wildflowers, with that beautiful Provençal greenery in every direction. The house was thoughtfully stocked — plenty of towels, cleaning supplies, and a kitchen ready to cook in, with olive oil, spices, and coffee already waiting. All the beds were soft and plenty of pillows as well. On cool mornings, the wood pellet stove did a wonderful job warming the whole house, which made those slow breakfast hours especially cozy.Our host Genevieve was warm, responsive, and genuinely invested in our stay. She even arranged a babysitter so my partner and I could have a night out in Saint-Rémy — that kind of above-and-beyond hospitality is rare and we were so grateful.AC kept the house perfectly cool on warmer days, WiFi was reliable, and the location struck that elusive balance: a quick drive into town but utterly quiet and peaceful. We’d return in a heartbeat."
