"Property is old and run down. My room smelled musty and was pervasive. I stayed for 4 nights to attend the Paducah Quiltweek. The bed was hard as a rock. The only good thing was the front desk staff. Both women were friendly and tried to get me into a ground room floor. "

"It would be good for the person doing the check in to let the guest know the policy on room cleaning and gathering of supplies. The system in place is ok just needs to be made known. The room doors are quite noisy when being closed. One suggestion is to add weather stripping of similar material to each door frame."

"When I first got to my room there was a stain on my pillowcase where it looks like somebody had been sleeping and slobber. I let that slide. I went back down to the front desk, took the pillowcase. Told the lady if she would just give me some clean sheets that I would change my bed when I return to my room around 10:30 that night to go to bed when I got in the bed I kept feeling something biting me so when I got up, I had a bite on my arm and a bite on my chest as I was getting ready to get out the bed to go downstairs to show them a roach crawl across the floor so when I went downstairs to show , the lady my bites she said oh it could be a mosquito bite mind you I had a black ring around my arm with a red bite on the inside, then I told her that there was a roach crawling across the floor. She brushed it off like it was no concern. They only paid me for Saturday. I was gonna be there for two nights. She told me that I couldn’t get paid for that night because it was after 11 o’clock so I only received my money back from Saturday. I wouldn’t advise anyone to stay there."

"We came at short notice for a family funeral, so we were pleased with the availability, cost, and location. It is old and had some wear and tear, but the beds were comfortable, it was quiet in spite of being fully booked, and the staff was attentive to our needs."

"It was a very nice stay. staff friendly and quite. alot of things with in walking distance. resturants, gas station and even a casino across the parking lot. Would book again while in the area."

"First of all, the staff was excellent. Everyone was very helpful and always happy to help. Unfortunately, other parts of our stay were not so good. The breakfast was lacking in just about every area except cleanliness. Selection was very limited. Tasteless eggs and some strange type of sausage. The hot waffle maker was the best option. Ran out of coffee before breakfast ended with no refill of the dispensers. The pool was heated and clean and there was sufficient seating available. Our room was adequate with the normal furniture. The king size bed was comfortable for me but was very soft which might make it uncomfortable for others. My main concern was the bed linens. Pillows were extremely poor quality. The sheets were clean but old and almost threadbare. The blanket was too small for the size of the bed. It didn't reach the sides let alone, hang over to allow tucking. The cover was a thin slippery fabric that kept sliding off the bed. I was impressed with the TV selection, though. Many offerings with 5 or so HBO channels. Overall, this is a clean, friendly place to stay but don't expect any luxuries."
