"This was our second time staying and it was even better than the first. Beautiful property and cabins, and there was plenty of space for our large group. Check-in was easy, the hosts were very communicative and again, had everything that you could need for a smooth stay. They even dropped off cornhole for us after I asked about it which was super nice of them. Our group had so much fun swimming, fishing, floating on the lake and hanging out on the patio. We’ll definitely try to make it back here for another trip! Thanks again for everything! :) "

"I normally stay at Barkley Lake State Resort but decided to make the extra drive to check out the Pennyrile Golf Course. So glad we did. The lodge was just as beautiful as well as the grounds and the area in general. Will definitely return with couples for more golfing next year. The place was practically empty, not sure why because we had a wonderful stay. You'd think it would be hard to secure a room. I have NEVER seen any marketing or advertising for Pennyrile other than flyers at the park shops. Kentucky sure knows how to run a great State Park system. Kudos. "
