Goodlettsville boasts an array of collectors shops and antique stores, the usual franchise restaurants and some excellent Ma and Pop home cooked restaurants with musical entertainment. Our 1650 sq foot Cabin stands in 3 acres of woodland but is so easily accessible from the highway, once inside you will love the pine walls and rustic appeal whilst enjoying all the modern amenities, central air conditioning/heat, dishwasher, washer/dryer, side by side refrigerator etc. All three bedrooms are of excellent proportions and have built in closets, the Master bedroom has a King size bed with pillow top mattress, and a large on-suite bathroom with a large walkin shower. In the 2nd King room sleep on the antique brass bed, with on-suite bathroom with corner shower. Our twin Provencal beds have pillow top mattresses, with separate bathroom and shower. The Large eat in Kitchen has more than ample cupboard space and all modern appliances, look through the stain glass window to the separate dining room with antique dining furniture. The lounge has a feature fireplace and very comfortable rustic furniture that compliments the whole cabin, as does the 50 inch TV. From the lounge the french doors lead to the 40 foot deck (Slippery when wet) surrounded by gorgeous hardwood trees, and our full fenced in yard, from here you can watch the birds, deer, chipmunks, squirrels and feed the hummingbirds. We had long days in Nashville and it was nice to return to tranquility where we relaxed watching movies or playing cards. The beds and furniture were comfortable and the cabin was furnished with everything you could possibly need. We had a little issue with heater and smoke detectors but the property manager was very responsive sending someone to check on us. The only downfall was the highway traffic if you are sitting outside on the deck (could not hear on the inside). Also, the steep drive getting to the property. It was difficult to see the drive from the road and making some of the tight turns at night. We thought lights and/or reflectors would be helpful to navigate. Love the design and layout. Was convenient to Gaylord Opryland and Opry Mills Mall which was the focus of this adventure. Saw deer in the side and back yards!! Everything as promised. Travel to downtown Nashville was a little longer when traffic cooperated, but well worth the drive. The setting is a nice contrast to the city crowds. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook at the house. You are near highway and can hear traffic outside constantly but didn’t bother us. Full kitchen with some essentials (you'll need your own food), multiple dining areas, spacious living room, three bedrooms, fantastic deck all in a secluded, wooded setting. It's just a short distance from the highway, but you can't see the road or neighbors, so it feels more isolated than it is. It's not perfect, but is as comfortable as many hotels I've stayed in recently and has many additional spaces that you won't find in a hotel. It is a little hidden but by following detailed directions given does help it is a little harder at night. It was perfect location and size for our family's get together. It was actually a little bigger than i expected from the pictures. The kitchen was good sized and the living room had plenty of seating. A big thank you to Gail and Stewart for being so accommodating! We loved the feel of being secluded in the woods yet so close to the city. The only minor downside is the location being right off the highway which meant traffic noise disturbing the serene peacefulness while enjoying the porch. Even so, the presence of the highway was what made it so easy to get into the city conveniently, so small price to pay. Three bedrooms and 3 bathrooms works out great for the 4 of us. This was one of the cleanest and well stocked homes we have ever stayed in. We had fun playing in Nashville and relaxing in the cabin at night. The road to the cabin is steep! It’s paved and narrow but we took our time and our drive up was fine. You can hear road noise when sitting outside but inside the house is quiet clean and comfy. We had a wonderful relaxing time. Gail was easy to communicate with and I’d stay here again if we ever came to Nashville ##### Laura M.
