This home was very nice and had a well stocked kitchen (dishes, cookware, etc). It was very clean. There was ample room. The screened- in porch was great for eating, playing games, and that morning cup of coffee. It would have been even better with a lake view.

Beautiful front porch & fully stocked kitchen

We had an awesome stay. Highly recommend this place! The house is beautiful and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make meals from home. We enjoyed the large front porch and the hot tub. Plus, it's just a short walk down to the water. We used the boat slip and had a great time out on Lake Barkley. Would love to stay here again!

Very serene and fabulous stay. Can't wait to visit again?

Very stunning cabin impeccably designed and clean. We were all in love with this place from the moment we walked into the cabin. This cabin fit our needs with the homeowners attention to details to ensure their visitors stay is a terrific experience. We had an issue with the A/C unit in which the homeowner swiftly took action to fix it.Our group enjoyed the serenity of the woods and all of the wonderful amenities that the cabin offers. We left our weekend so relaxed and rejuvenated.

Beautiful Cabin and Relaxing Location

This cabin is so beautiful, well maintained, and furnished with everything you need to have a relaxing stay. The outdoor spaces allow for multiple locations to unwind, especially the screened-in porch. Pattie (the owner) is so friendly and welcoming. The pride she takes in her beautiful cabins is evident and she strives to ensure her guests feel welcomed and have everything they need. We loved our stay so much, we are planning another trip to Cadiz this fall and are planning to rent this cabin again.

The get away.

Friends and family wanted to get together at a mutual meeting place. This property made it a great week for 3 couples coming from different directions. Hot tub was awsome and relaxing. Hanging around fire pit, barbecueing and just hanging with friends and family is what it was all about. This property definitely provided that.

Absolutely amazing! This place has everything you could ask for and more. It is more like a shared home than a rental property. It has everything you need, just bring food and drinks. The owner, Patty is a fabulous host and is there to help with anything you need. We had a wonderful time and will definitely stay here again. when in the area.

Sensational Screened Porch

The house was absolutely lovely with very nice outdoor seating areas. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch, which was spectacular. The smoker was wonderful to use, although more barbecue utensils would have been appreciated. It also would have been nice to have a bit more room in the bathrooms for personal toiletries. The house enabled nice family time.

Beautiful and Serene

This cabin is so beautiful and we have fallen in love with this area of Kentucky. This our second time staying in this cabin and it won't be our last. April and Patty are so friendly and accommodating. The cabin was decorated beautifully for Christmas and my family made wonderful memories that we will always cherish. Just like our first stay, we found the cabin very clean and well stocked. The neighborhood is very quiet so enjoying the multiple outside areas is a nice reprieve from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We got to watch multiple deer walk through the property, listen to the birds sing, and just have a very relaxing family vacation.

Amazing property and owner!

This property is everything and more as described and shown in pictures. Situated on a large private lot, this cabin is crafted with much character, craftmanship and thought, it came as no surprise to learn the owner had it built for her personal use before deciding to share with all of us. To add to the overall experience, she reached out to me directly and went above and beyond to make sure the stay was excellent. In addition to being a beautiful cabin, it was exceptionally clean and stocked with all essentials in the kitchen, bath and laundry areas. I've stayed in many cabins and properties for both work and personal and by far this is one of my new favorites.

Best Barkley Lake cabin!

Beautiful cabin on secluded lot. Enjoy the completely screened in porch while outside or sit in the open air on the front porch. Beautiful furnishings. Very well appointed kitchen with high end appliances and all utensils you will need. Hugh master bedroom with king bed and bathroom. Cool loft room with bed. Basement was super cool with a bed, couch, TV and private bath. Utility room with high end front load washer and dryer. Host was super responsive to all communications. We will be back!

Lovely property close to Lake Barkley. Added plus was the boat dock nearby, although it’s a somewhat steep paved descent to get to it. This beautiful lodge has all the amenities. Comfortable porches to enjoy watching deer graze nearby. Our only negative was the bed in the loft space was not very comfortable for one of our couples. Would be fine for a single person. Other beds were super comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked and has nice new appliances. We had a really nice 5-night stay celebrating our nation’s 250th birthday. Would love to stay here again!
