"Aside from the no-contact check-in policy (a major hassle) The Spot exceeded expectations . The location is a bit grotty—but then, this is Nanaimo!—but the property was clean, the staff lovely and the rooms simple but clean. The aid conditioning was a bit noisy but overall good value for a decent price."

"The hotel is in need of some upgrades but overall it was good. The tub in the bathroom dripped constantly, we advised the front desk so hopefully the next people in the room won’t have that issue. The breakfast was very poor with very limited options."
