Night Sky Lodge is a 1,000 square foot home nestled on the hillside just feet away from the National Forest property line. The home is a quarter mile from the nearest neighbor and sits at the end of a private 1000 foot driveway. The the open floor plan in the kitchen, dining, and living areas accommodate up to 6 guests comfortably. The home was designed to maximize living and entertainment space so sleeping areas were kept minimalist. The primary's bedroom features a california king bed while the alternate guest room is furnished with a twin over full bunk bed with a trundle. There is one bathroom in the home with shower/tub combo and washer/dryer. A wood burning stove is located in the living area and can be used during the months of October - March. The home was designed as energy efficient but still boasts basic modern amenities such as AC, heat, standard kitchen appliances, etc. The spacious 560 square foot deck includes outdoor seating, an eating area, a hot tub, and a chiminea fireplace.

The home accommodates parking for up to 3 vehicles. Boat, RV, and ATV/UTV trailer parking is available at the bottom of the driveway.
We have worked hard to ensure the property (our home) is clean, free of allergens, and safe for all guests. We kindly ask our guests to respect our house rules. We ask for non-smoking and pet free guests.

If the house has evidence of smoking/smoke or pets/animals inside the house or on the deck/patio a $250 fee will be assessed. While smoking is only allowed on the driveway, no pets are allowed on any part of the property.

Wood Burning Stove: There is a video on how to use the indoor wood stove at the property. This must be watched before operating the stove. If you are not comfortable operating the stove, we kindly ask you refrain from use. We have a chiminea and outdoor firepit available for use as well for those . Only seasoned wood from the property's "general store" can be burned indoors. This wood is $10 per XL bundle and includes kindling and firestarters. Please call or text with questions regarding indoor/outdoor fires. Improper use of the wood stove can lead to smoke infiltration in the house and may require professional smoke removal/restoration charged to the guest. We want you to enjoy this feature, so if we can help you do that, we will do our best to walk you through it.

Please keep towels within the property. We know they are soft, absorbent and do a great job... but we really need them for the next guests 😊.

HOT TUB RULES

Owner is not liable for injuries resulting from improper use/general use of the spa/hot tub. For the safety of all users, the primary guest must must read and agree to adhere to the rules and conditions of the spa prior to use.

No life guard on duty, swim at your own risk

Shower before entering the hot tub

No unsupervised children under the age of 18

No children under 6 years old inside the tub

NO GLASS, food, or drink inside or near the hot tub area

Do not use the spa while under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or any other drug that causes sleepiness, drowsiness, or raises/lowers blood pressure

Do not operate the spa in severe weather conditions

If you are pregnant, consult with a doctor prior to use

Lower temperature if soaking for longer periods of time. (no longer than 10-15 minutes for children)

If you suffer from heart disease, high/low blood pressure, or other health problems, consult with a
doctor prior to use
