This is a 2-bedroom, 2-bath beautifully decorated cabin situated among the mountain peaks. A feeling of "being on top of the world" would best describe your experience at Skyview Sanctuary. Everywhere you look you can enjoy the view: sitting in the large hot tub, relaxing in front of the outdoor fire pit, or unwinding on the private upstairs deck off the master bedroom. Up for some fun? Head on down to the lower level, where you\`ll find a 55"-inch flat-screen TV, pool table, Ping-Pong table, foosball table, Corn Hole boards, and bean bags! How about some hiking? It's just a step out the door for a moderate-to-intense trek up the rest of the mountain. Horseback riding, tubing, shopping, eating out, additional hiking and more are all within a fifteen-minute drive away. So, pack your bags and head on up to the "Skyview Sanctuary!" With its amazing views, peace, and tranquility, we know it will soon rank as one of your favorite vacation spots. DOGS ONLY Guests are responsible for any damages that result from pets. No pets on furniture or in hot tub. Any delays in housekeeping because of pet hair on furniture, Guests agree to pay an additional housekeeping fee of a minimum of $25 with a maximum of $250.00 . Any pet hair found in hot tub or filter will result in a minimum charge of $100\. This fee is non refundable. Please note: AWD Recommended Skyview Sanctuary is a beautifully decorated 2-bedroom, 2-bath cabin that sleeps up to four (4) people and offers the following: King master on upper level, private bathroom with walk-in shower, private deck, 32'' TV Queen bedroom on the main level with deck access Main level communal bathroom with tub/shower combo The main level living room has a 50" flat-screen TV and a wood-burning fireplace (a starter bundle of firewood provided Oct 1st-April 1st) The terrace-level living room has a 55'' TV Game room with pool table Board games, and card games for family time Hot tub Fire pit Road - dirt, gravel, bumpy, and mountainous Pet-friendly Gas grill WI-FI STR Host License Number 001716 Due to the gravel roads and steep terrain of the area, roads to this cabin can sometimes be a bit difficult to navigate; and an all-wheel-drive, front-wheel-drive, or 4-wheel-drive vehicle is strongly recommended. All of our cabin rentals are fully furnished and include a minimum of the following unless otherwise stated in the listing: Fully-equipped kitchen: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans. Linens for each bed, 2-bath towels, 1-hand towel, 1 washcloth per person listed on the guest list, dresser or closet for clothing storage, central heat & air, washer/dryer, vacuum and/or broom and dustpan, mop, internet, and propane gas grill. In addition, we provide a complimentary start-up supply of toilet tissue (1 roll per bathroom), 1-roll of paper towels, 4 kitchen garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, dishwashing liquid, and laundry detergent for at least 2 loads. Many of our cabins include more than this basic list of inventory items. The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments. Sky View Sanctuary was everything it was advertised to be. It was a peaceful retreat from the everyday rat race. The 10 min ride up the mountain roads were paid off big time each time you looked off that back deck. The home had all the things you could possibly need and then some. A quick 20-25 min ride got you to downtown Ellijay or Blue Ridge. We will definitely be back, hopefully sooner than later. We felt the cleanliness and overall maintenance of the property could be improved. It appeared that it hadn't been really deep cleaned for a long time, and the towels need replacing. They are very thin, rough, and smelly with stains. We had lots of lady bugs sleeping with us all over, but that's ok. We also found evidence of mice under the kitchen sink. The cabin just wasn't sealed the best it seems, but again, it's a cabin!
