"We had a lovely 3 days staying in Topcroft cottage. All bedrooms are great sizes and having the 2 en-suites was very helpful as we were travelling as 2 families of 4. There is plenty of space for 8 people, the wood burner kept us cosy as the weather wasn’t as warm as we had hoped! Phillipa was so kind and dropped in a freshly baked cake and bread when we arrived, these went down a storm with all. The cottage is in Hathersage and attached to the village pharmacy. Parking is adequate for 2 cars...

"Lovely spacious clean cottage, very well equipped. Owners were attentive nice people. Summer or winter very comfortable place to be. Good position for visiting lot's of places. "The cottage is very welcoming and is equipped with everything that you may need. It is very central to the lovely village with shops and pub almost within touching distance. The off-road parking is a boon although there was always space on the road if more than one car was used. All-in-all an excellent stay and no doubt we will return as there is so much to see in the area and the cottage makes a wonderful base."

"The plus side: Nice clean cottage, welcome basket with fresh bread, haribo sweets, wine. Flowers on table, tea, coffee, sugar and even treats for the dog. Sky/netflix. Bed very comfy. Nice white towels. Good communication from owner. 2 local pubs- the Nelson ...no food gd beer. Rising sun, pub grub. Both friendly pubs. negative side: Right on a very busy,noisy road. We could not work out why so many lorries etc cut through there. We did sort of get used to the noise except early...

"The apartment was nice. Kitchen fully stocked. City centre location so was very noisy at night until 4am one night. The room also isn’t pitch black even with the curtains drawn. Could do with blinds. Floor was quite greasy and sticky so had to wear shoes the whole time. Checkout process was easy and quick. Parking was a nightmare. There’s a car park opposite the apartments but you have to pay and it’s very limited because it’s free after 8:30pm. Always fully packed. Had to park around the corner...
