Surrounded by mountains and poplars this was a beautiful spot to stay in with great outdoor areas, roomy interior and accommodating and kind hosts

Great stay

We had a truly enjoyable stay. Hafid was a very pleasant host; as he lived in the upper part of the house he was very quick to help when needed. Very well equipped property with a great pool.

Great complete vacation house

The property is great and very complete. You will find everything what you need to make your stay feel like home. The swimmingpool is great and deep so you can take a dive. There is always enough shadow in the garden to hide from the sun. The nice and warm owners live upstairs but you will almost not notice that they are there. They give you all the privacy you need to enjoy your holiday. And they will still be there in point to support you in anything you need or if a small problem arises. We loved it with our 2 kids!

Beautiful Holiday Home with Pool

We had a fabulous time in Menton staying in the immaculately maintained villa Maracudja. The pool area was beautiful with full outdoor kitchen and comfy loungers. Inside had all mod-cons. Really well furnished and catered for. Hafid was able to provide tips on the local area. We would definitely stay here again, it is a very beautiful part of France.

Excellent holiday

We had an excellent holiday at Villa Maracudja. The accommodation is very well equipped and furnished to a high standard. We made good use of the large swimming pool which was very well maintained. The house is very well situated just a couple of miles outside Menton, ideal for visiting this beautiful region. Hafid and Kristell were charming hosts and made us feel very welcome.

Incredible stay

Incredible stay in this villa. We have had one of our best vacation in the last few years and Kristelle and Hafid were extremely nice, friendly and helpful to make our time as good as possible. The house is extremely clean and super well equipped. The pool was one of the highlights for us and our kids. We haven’t missed a thing and felt totally comfortable all the time. Amazing stay from start to finish!

We were welcomed with open arms by Hafid and Kristel. It’s an amazing house just outside the city of Menton so all the pleasure of the village nearby without any disturbance. A very clean and complete residence, both the kitchen in the house as well as the outdoor kitchen are wel stocked. The kids enjoyed the pool and the “chill corner” in the living, while we relaxed at the pool bar or in the lounge chairs. Hafid proofed the be a great host, with ample recommendations for restaurants, things to do or where to find the best croissant in town. We had a great stay and are looking forward to return. Villa on Rue Castellar, Menton

Lovely welcoming hosts Hafid and Kristelle. Lovely clean well equipped villa on split level ground floor. We enjoyed the well sized pool and outdoor kitchen, and cooked several meals on the excellent plancha. When outside some distant road noise noticeable from A8 but didn’t bother us, we played some jazz music on excellent outside Bluetooth speaker. An easy winding drive down to Menton, and we did try the bus a couple of times too. All in all we really enjoyed our week, spending time in and around Menton and an easy day visit to Monaco on the train - so much to see and do there too!

We had a wonderful holiday in this house. It was spotlessly clean inside and out, had every equipment you would need for the kitchen and other areas. The pictures do not reflect properly how big the house is. The living area is open-plan and huge, the bedrooms are separate, so you can enjoy most of the house even if the children are asleep. Outside patio with a fully fitted kitchen (even dishwasher and extra TV) are fantastic. Pool is much bigger than expected (around 12m long by my crude estimate) with plenty of areas around it where you can find shade somewhere all day long. There are plenty of things to keep the children active, like ping pong table, trampoline and swings. As other reviews mentioned, you can hear the motorway, but you can get used to it very quickly and don't notice at all. The owners live on the first floor, but you would never know. Hafid was such a great host, had plenty of recommendation on local places and restaurants and communication through Whatsapp was super easy and convenient. In short it is the perfect house for both exploring the area as well as relaxing around the pool. 100% recommended.

Wunderschöne Wohnung von sehr freundlichen Vermietern, sehr gut für Familien geeignet

Wir haben Ende Dezember Urlaub mit unseren drei Kindern (4, 6, 8 Jahre) in dieser tollen Wohnung gemacht. Unsere Gastgeber haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen. Als Willkommensgruß gab es Mandarinen und Avocado aus dem eigenen Garten und im Wohnzimmer stand zur Freude der Kinder ein Weihnachtsbaum. Die große Küche ließ keine Wünsche offen und es hätte auch die Möglichkeit bestanden draußen in der Outdoorküche zu kochen oder den Grill zu nutzen. Die Wohnung ist so schön wie auf den Fotos, sehr gut ausgestattet und bietet viel Platz. Sie ist aus unserer Sicht sehr gut für einen Aufenthalt mit Kindern geeignet. Innen ist es sehr ruhig (man hört die Autobahn bei geschlossenen Fenstern nicht), so dass wir gut schlafen konnten. Für unsere Ausflüge gab uns Hafid nützliche Tipps für die wir sehr dankbar waren. Die Kommunikation hat super funktioniert. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez vous. Merci Kristell et Hafid!

Exceptionnel et Parfait

Mon Mari et nos 2 filles avons été accueillis comme des rois. Kristell, Hafid et leurs enfants ont été d'une extrème gentillesse et aux petits soins pour nous 4. Tout au long de notre séjour, ils nous ont conseillé, informé et répondu à toutes nos questions sur nos activités quotidiennes, visites de villages aux alentours, coins les plus sympas à visiter, l'utilisation du TER à proximité de la villa pour nous déplacer rapidement... La villa est d'une propreté ultra parfaite, son intérieur est très complet, il y a tout : cuisine moderne équipée avec toute la vaisselle, appareils ménagers (plaque de cuisson, four, lave-vaisselle, cafetières, micro-ondes, grand frigo américain avec glacons).... linge de maison et produits ménagers, lave-linge, sèche-linge... Décoration extrèmement soignée. Chaque pièce a été agencée avec goût. Nous étions comme chez nous. Et le summun est toute la partie extérieure, un rêve de pouvoir profiter de la grande piscine neuve, propre entourée de ses nombreux transats et fauteuils. Une cuisine d'été est aussi aménagée pour préparer de bons petits plats à la plancha ou au barbecue. En résumé de formidables vacances dans une villa exceptionnelle, extra propre et des propriétaires vraiment merveilleux et d'une gentillesse extraordinaire. Nous les remercions sincèrement. What a wonderful property to stay at. Superbly located, only 5 min drive into Menton (centre), nestled in the mountains for lovely views, the property has been recently refurbished throughout, to a really high standard. It's comfortable and very well appointed. A fantastic pool, with outside kitchen and bar / seating area, which we spent many hours enjoying. Hafid and Kristell are amazing hosts, very warm and welcoming, happy to be on hand if needed but equally out of sight of you want privacy. Really lovely people too. We couldn't fault our stay, the property or Hafid and Kristell. We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended 💯 out of 💯 Five stars... 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Nice house with great pool-area in Menton

Very nice house. Clean and well equipped. Kitchen and common dining area newly refurbished. Great pool-area and outdoor kitchen. Very friendly and helpful owners (who live in the upstair unit). Some noise could be heard from the nearby motorway, but nothing that we found to be a problem. Many nearby beaches and attractions within a realtively short driving distance.

Fantastic accommodation and good facilities
