"Visiting with kids and in laws to visit Lassen for the first time. This was a great place to stay for all of us! Our family stayed together in the big room and the in-laws stayed in the adjacent house. The house also has a bathtub which was good for our two-year old. We were able to walk around the house to see and hear nature too."

"Great location for a visit to Lassen Park. Lovely view of the woods and stars and conveniently located off the main highway and within easy driving distance to Chester for groceries and restaurants. "We wanted to be south of Lassen NP, so our options were limited. The charge for the property was overpriced for the amount of space one had. The linens were lovely. Pillows were good. The restaurant was a lovely place and staff were great, but they were short-handed and we didn’t get our food for an hour and fifteen minutes after we ordered and then it was cold!! "

"The pictures don't do justice to this property. The red carpet makes the pictures look dated, but the property is immaculate. The house is as equipped as they come and they are generous enough to provide firewood, charcoal, starters... And you can see that the property is made and maintained with lot of history and love.
