"Three generations of our family stayed here for just over a week, visiting the area for a family wedding. Grandparents, two pairs of parents, and six grandchildren (aged 3 -11), we all enjoyed our time here. Location is great, right by the Rideau River, with a natural boundary of grasses and reeds. The kids loved running around the property, building forts in the adjoining riverside woods, and playing with badminton rackets and bocce with the adults. The house itself has all mod cons, with traditional/vintage furniture throughout. It does not feel "precious", so we easily relaxed, particularly in the welcoming river-view sunroom. The kitchen is spacious and modern, easy to work in, and well supplied with utensils. I messaged Jake a few times, and he quickly responded to my questions. He was friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend this place and would happily stay here again!"

"This hotel is an hidden gem. The rooms are very nice and clean. The location is convenient and so close to the highway. It is only 30mins drive from Downtown Ottawa. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was alright. The only downside is the pre- packaged eggs. I suggest they cook their eggs themselves or don't serve eggs at all. People are very careful when it comes to dairy and poultry products. The service was excellent. Staff were exceptional. The price is just right. I will be back many more times. "

"The facility was fine and the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. However the owner was very rude and made us feel unwelcome from the first few seconds we got there. Sadly, we will definitely never return to this place."
