The Pfister is an Amazing Hotel steeped with an interesting history.
From the moment we walked in the door until our departure, the service was fantastic.
Our room was lovely and well appointed, we had a view of the river
There are a number of great dining options on the property
The location is very central to the downtown area which allowed us to walk along the river walk and tour the downtown area.

One of the best parts of staying at the Country Clare is the food in the restaurant. I have waited since before Covid to have an Irish Grilled Cheese sandwich. It did not disappoint.

The breakfast could be improved. Oatmeal and bananas ran out 1 hour before closing.
On a regular day, breakfast ends at 9:00 am. Breakfast at the onsite restaurant was a total disappointment. For $17, the pack included two strips of bacon, over easy egg cooked on a messy grill, 5 sliced cherry tomatoes and a slice of bread.

From the moment we approached the front entrance, a staff member rushed to the door to assist us, as my husband was in a wheelchair. They assisted us with our luggage and directed us to check in.
The person checking us in Check was very friendly and promptly had us on our way to the room.
Breakfast was included and we were pleasantly surprised with their great selection, including freshly made pancakes in-less than a minute, not to mention the coffee was very good.
