"The property was well kept with everything being simple and easy to use. It had everything we could have possibly required, from the bathroom to a fully equipped kitchen, as well as a washing machine and line if required for longer stays. The whole place was very comfortable and in a very beautiful and convenient location with places such as Castle Combe, Bath and Longleat not far away if you wish to go out for the day. "A really lovely house in a beautiful peaceful location. Comfortable ( especially the beds) and cosy. So nice to be able to go for walks straight from the front door and an ideal spot for visiting Avebury and other ancient sites in the area. The owner was friendly and helpful. Would love to return."

"The Stables was exactly as described. Perfect place for our Christmas in the UK. The kitchen was well equipped, the rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable, the living area was also terrific. And the walk to Batheaston had a nice local pub at the bottom. Who could ask for anything more. And Bath was a picturesque one hour or so walk away along the canal. Thank you Mathew & Leigh"

"Stunning lodge in the most beautiful setting. This was our third visit to Lower Mill Estate. Coot Lodge is a very spacious 3 bedroom lodge - with double height living accommodation, huge decked area, with bbq. It’s close proximity to the spa and pool made it super easy to walk to. Lots of towels and clean bedding. We were spoilt for board Games. The property is so lovely that we didn’t really want to leave to go anywhere! We would highly recommend and would book to visit again."

"The property is what it says - central location and small. Steep staircase to bedroom. Lounge/kitchen is very compact with bi folding doors to loo. Perfect for a 1 night stay. We went to Highgrove. Had a coffee when we got in, ate out, slept well and left after breakfast."

"My family of 4 adults stayed here. It did not disappoint! Tim & Victoria are perfect hosts and the communication is great. They provide a lot of useful info to plan and stay at their home.. even have an app & book. Although they tried very hard to explain where to park to drop off our things, we failed...but it's ok. Once you found the home, it was easy after that. They left many goodies to enjoy. Thank you! Their kitchen is well-stocked and has a Nespresso machine with a milk frother. I loved...

"We had a brilliant few days staying here for a girls getaway! The building is easy to find, super safe and very clean. Our room was very warm but they had already thought of that, with 2 huge fans kept in the room for us, making us more comfortable. The customer service was very efficient and always available to help. The only thing I would note is that there are no lifts there and we were on the top floor with heavy suitcases. Other than that it is a super location and we would definitely stay...

Smashing little find
"Fantastic little find & very reasonably priced as right bang in the city. Great breakfast & car park could not have been any closer. The staff stamped my ticket which meant no parking charges so absolute bonus. Will stay again for sure. The bar staff were great craic."
