« We enjoyed being so close to downtown McKinney. The building is older and was the perfect size for my hubby and I, but felt it needed a good cleaning (including the furniture). The pillows on the bed were extremely old and need to be replaced. The heat source was a plug in unit as there is no central air or heat. I would not stay here again. »

« Unfortunately, I have to give such a bad review, even though the host was responsive. First off, we got one key, there should be a keyless entry door pad, or something like that for security reason. Next I had two dogs. The grass was not cut. It looks like it hadn’t been cut for a month or two. The backyard grass was so high, I don’t know what it was back there, but my dogs ate something, and they both got sick. « The host was friendly and open to helping us throughout the stay. Overall, things were pretty good. It did get quite cold inside, sepecially in the shared spaces. There were plenty of space heaters avaialble to help. Heating was uneven. The rooms could get too hot if the room door was cold, and upstairs gets hotter than downstairs (no zoned heating). We found that several dishes were not fully cleaned and the kettle neede cleaning and descaling. We also noticed some windows were left unlocked....

« If we could give less than one star, we would have. Don’t make the mistake I did and book a stay here. We were very unhappy with the house. To begin with, the front porch steps were incredibly rickety and the porch floor was very weak at the front door. Upon entering the house we were met with a very unpleasant order like the house had been closed up for a long time. The furnishings were very old with slip covers that were stained and dirty. The house looked and smelled like it had not been...

« Firstly, they advertise that they have breakfast but all you get is Coffee. My biggest issue is the $50 deposit that should be refunded was never refunded. Saw the transaction in my back account and it was pending a $0.00 refund so they are fully aware that they didn’t refund me, just made it look like a refund was coming my way. »
