"I just had the best vacation with my family at the Islander in Mashpee, MA. My host was very helpful and attentive. I had never been to this part of Mashpee before and it was beautiful. I was able to visit old favorites on the Cape and find new favorite places. I highly recommend this cottage. It was very comfortable and the host was amazing."

"Our host, Elizabeth, was very responsive the entire stay, very available through texts with any questions. The home was even better than described. It was so welcoming when we arrived on a cold, windy winter night. It immediately felt warm and cozy. Everything we would need was provided. For us, the location was perfect as it was very close to the family we were visiting, but it is also a great location for Falmouth ih general. I would think the pool in the back yard would be great in the summer. We hope to stay there again the next time we are in Falmouth and would highly recommend the home. "

"The house is gorgeous and very comfortable. It looks like something from an interior design magazine. Everything is light and bright, and the many windows afford the beautiful view of the water. There are kayaks which we didn't use, and while I'm sure there is water access, we couldn't see it from the property. The location is near shops and restaurants and still private. We felt like we were alone in the woods. Tip: don't put the garbage out. I believe racoons got into it and made a mess.We didn't need the casita, but I bet older kids would love to stay in it. It's a small distance from the main house. There's a great fire pit with Adirondack chairs surrounding it, and a double hammock. The hot tub is great.The photo shows the back door. The other door has a stone path leading up to it and one step to get inside. I love the keyless entry.The downstairs bedroom was perfect for my friend who has limited mobility. And the bathroom right outside her bedroom has a shower so that was a plus. The three upstairs bedrooms were large and the beds were comfortable. This is a small thing, but I love having different types of pillows to choose from. The master bath has a heated floor--it's chilly in October so that was greatly appreciated.The kitchen is a cook's dream. All the appliances are great. There's lots of counter space to work on and it's nice and bright. We cooked every night and we used the available spices. This is a wonderful property."

"As you already know, I was met with unusual circumstances of the home, not being ready. It was damp and cold as the day was a chilly fall day, and it didn’t look like what I had rented. The heat issue still existed when I came in the next day. The heat would’ve been a nice touch to give a welcoming sense of. I’m glad you’re here. There were so many amenities wonderful for an active family as we were attending a wedding we were responding to an external schedule Until we could relax and enjoy the beautiful location."

"We had a great time at this property. It was clean and well supplied with beach stuff, toys for kids. Also had a crib and playpen so we did not have to cart them up. My son used the kayaks everyday. Neighborhood was quiet and friendly. Location was good- 10 minutes to beach/food and 5 min to the wedding we were there for. Highly recommend "

"This was such a great spot for our summer vacation! The house is very well appointed -- by far the easiest kitchen to cook in of any rental I've stayed in -- and the quick walk to the beach makes for a perfect stay. We hope to be back next year! "

"Overall a really great stay. Old, but charming house. If you’re looking for a really quiet stay, this is perfect. Unfortunately there are some minor upkeep issues- smoke alarms go off with the smallest bit of cooking, slightly clogged drains and tv’s aren’t in good position. "
