"Staffs were very nice. I have spine problem and can’t sleep on soft mattress. The stairs helped me get a firm mattress even though I asked them to get the extra sheet so that I could sleep on the floor. It really helped me a lot. "

"some of the staff were not pleasant at all accusing us of smoking in the room, which we weren’t but refused to come to my room. I called Expedia for help and didn’t get any. The breakfast does not include eggs, bacon or hashbrowns. You have to pay extra if you want these items, there was hair that came out of the hot tub it was disgusting. The carpets are very old and worn out not a pleasant stay"

"Clean. Amazing location. I stay at Holiday Inn’s frequently and this breakfast was the same as a regular Holiday Inn but they made you pay for it. When I checked in, I had some perks from hotels.com with a reduced parking rate and a free breakfast but when I checked in, they didn’t really mention it. I prefer when they confirm the perks right away and apply everything so you know what’s going on and you don’t have to ask about it. "

"The pull out bed in the “suite” was broken, and I had to go ask for bedding, then make the bed myself. When I wanted to change rooms that was going to be difficult, however after much discussion and reiterating the bed was broken, we got a move. I think we were on the third floor team section, as the carpets were disgusting, the couch stained, the wall paper peeling. We were moved higher up in the building, and although not great, much better. Expedia pricing gets you the well used third floor. It was a nice hotel in the 1990s There are no options for breakfast nearby, but proximity to the 404 and 401 and highway 7 was helpful"

"This is my go-to hotel in Markham. It has everything I need for business travel, the rooms are great, everything works, a very decent buffet breakfast is included, and usually very decent pricing."
