"What a great place! Peaceful and quiet. The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities you could possibly need. Unfortunately it rained all weekend so we couldn’t hang outside by the fire pit but the screened in porch is a nice extension of the home. The hosts reached out to make sure everything was going well and it was. There is a gas station/cafe around the bend and the cafe has really good food, especially for breakfast. "Came to Damascus to do the VA Creeper Trail. This cabin is only a few miles from downtown Damascus so it was super convenient. Just a touch off the beaten path and it was perfect! Nice open living room with high ceilings, pullout couch, cute bedroom downstairs, loft with 2 twin beds upstairs. Balcony off the back is perfect for coffee in the mornings and wine in the evenings. We will definitely be staying here again! Owners are very responsive and checkin/out was a breeze!"

"Very clean not even cobwebs on the high ceilings! Cozy but spacious. The stairs to the loft bedroom are so neat. Decorated very well. The large new deck has great views of Mtns/lake. We got to hear rain on the metal roof and see lightning bugs in the trees. Host was a fantastic communicator. There is a great list of things to do in the area on the fridge. 3 adults stayed comfortably with our own rooms and there is 2 living rooms. Definitely 5 stars worthy!!"

"It was amazing. If you are looking for a place with scenic views look no further! Absolutely stunning to walk around the deck and enjoy the blue ridge mountains. However, I would HIGHLY recommend a 4WD. Don’t make the mistake we made and think “oh well, I am a good driver it shouldn’t be an issue”… chances of someone getting up the last few hundred feet with a fully loaded front wheel drive are very slim!!
