"The quality of the room wasn’t great. Our towel rack fell off the wall, the TV was so dark it was hard to watch, and there were hairs in the bathroom when we checked in. Note that they also charge $22 for parking per night for self parking in a giant empty lot, which we didn’t find out about until we were charged after checking out. Would have been great if the front desk had let us know about this extra charge upon check-in or if there was some actual safety or convenience that went with this charge."

"Hotel room 100 ft from lobby & 50 ft from loud machine rooms Shower was a lukewarm trickle of water Hairdryer & bathroom outlets were broken Hotel restaurant did not serve food listed on the menu on the website & the food was almost inedible I went to inform the person at the concierge desk, Robin, about the shower & she said while looking at me like I was annoying & stupid, "Well the water isn't always that warm when everyone's taking a shower at once." I rhetorically asked "Is everyone taking a shower at 10pm?" & she replied, "Well I don't know when everyone's taking a shower. We're at maximum capacity." She suggested having their engineer go take a look at the shower & said they'd replace the hairdryer. The entire exchange was awkward & unpleasant. I asked for Robin's manager & had a similarly unpleasant encounter with her. This was the second time where hotel staff looked at me like I was stupid & annoying. She did not apologize for Robin's attitude & just said she'd "let her know" that I complained. I left both of those conversations feeling like neither of those people cared one iota whether I was having a good experience or not. The shower did not improve in quality after the engineer "took a look at it" Robin was manning the desk when I was checking out & informed me that I was to receive a $40 refund (6%) on a $700 hotel bill ($350 a night for a single king bed room) because of the shower. She said other guests had also complained about their showers, too."

"The receptionist directed me to open the staff supply closet to get two bars of soap for our room so she didn’t have to walk the ten feet to do so herself. There was no curtains on the windows, and none of the staff understood what curtains were, so we couldn’t be helped. Worst $400 I ever spent for a single night, and was also charged $50 for early check in."
