"We loved staying here! Lots of space in the house, strong AC and wifi. TV with youtube for the kids when they need some down time. I saw most of the birds on my trip right from the porch. Manzanillo is a perfect small beach town with kind people who help you and call someone from their phone if you need it. Family values are strong here and the community is a tight one. Check out Wild Ginger for a medicinal plant walk, cooking class or coconut oil making workshop! We want to come back already."

"We rented thru VRBO for a family of 10. The main building has 3 rooms with own baths. The kitchen is attached and has large fridge, gas oven/stove and plenty of counter space and dishes for a large family. The pool is very nice. Also on this property are two other buildings with rooms. So if you have a large family or group there are more rooms available than the 3 in the main house. The property is 4 minute walk to the beach, small grocery store and restaurants. We live in San Jose CR and this...
"You live on the first floor, completely open, with plenty of space, in the middle is a large kitchen and bar where we spend our time, or lying in the hammocks. 3 separate bedrooms with own bathroom. I love the design and simplicity and the materials of the house!"

"It’s very fun, from the front windows that pivot open whole front wall to the hammocks. More glamping than house. Nice. Saw raccoons and hummingbirds on property. Saw monkeys and sloughs in town. Can walk to everything."
"Sehr angenehmes schickes Hotel mit viel grün, liebevoll angelegt. Ruhig, daher abgelegen, 20 Min zu Fuß zum Dorf. Wasser for free, restliche Getränke ausschamt teuer"
"Its was terrible. The only highlight was the girl that was working at the office. The place is nasty. We were there for 4 night and they charged us double price ! My friend was staying there and he only paid a little amount. There music very loud and people a screaming at 8-9 am. Manzanillo is very far of puerto viejo ai you must have a car or rent a bike. Dont pay 100$ for this ! "

"This place was amazing.. the pictures Travelocity has doesnt do the place justice. The staff soooo friendly they go abvoe and beyond..not just one or two but all the staff. They have a turtle pond to see turtles and fish as well as frogs. Their cat oreo is so sweet and a fun addition for guests. We were able to see about 4 sloths on the property. The maintenence staff always kept an eye and then showed the guests where they were making the experience really nice. Not one problem w this place.. beautiful lovely, chill, fun things to see, great suggestions of what to do from staff.. we really loved this place and had a great experience. They furthermore provided a refreshing welcome drink upon arrival and a token for another drink when we were ready. "

"Amazing, very high quality hotel for a good price.
Short walk across the street to the restaurant and a paradisiac beachfront. Pools are well maintained, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and activities. Cannot recommend Le Cameleon enough!"

"Beautiful property with the ocean just a few yards away. The grounds were filled with amazing plants and animals--howler monkeys, tucans, dart frogs, agouties--and while the ocean could be a bit rough, the tide pools were sandy bottomed and deep enough to swim in without being hit by waves. Fabulous all around!"
