« I decided to stay at the Bluemont based on prior reviews and wanting to support and independent business. My mistake. While the room was spacious and the location of the hotel, excellent, my money would have been better spent at one of the local Aggiville chain hotels. The staff was Luke warm at best, the parking overpriced, the gym laughable, the walls paper thin to easily hear your neighbors, and the hot water pressure was just over a trickle. « Location is great, as it overlooks a park. Unfortunately, there are smokers who are able to gain access to lobby and front entrance areas. Build up of cigarette butts is excessive. »

« The place was old and big and getting to and from the rooms was quite confusing. The pool was good. There was a huge empty space in the middle of the hotel which made the place feel unwelcoming. Rooms were big and beds were comfortable. »

« Miss Aubrey checked us in. She was professional, friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, beds comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent . Biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, waffles, fried onions and peppers and that was the hot breakfast. An assortment of cold breakfast food was available as well. We met Miss Virginia the chef.
