Mandera Vacation Packages

The room was clean yet some deferred maintenance noted in bathroom. I didn’t receive the ‘welcome package’ that was to equate to a discount on a meal charged to my room. I was surprised by the additional $49.95 per day Resort fee. Overall, location was good for our trip to the Sphere.

Pros: The overall atmosphere inside this hotel was pretty calm. There was not a busy lobby or casino area. It was pretty quiet and there were plenty of opportunities to hop on a machine or table with no wait. Although it is not located on the Vegas strip, it was only a 5-10 minute drive to most attractions on the strip. Not far from the airport as well. Things that I did not like: unlike the larger hotels on the Vegas trip, there were not very many good food/dining options in this hotel. The only meal that I enjoyed was in the Mexican restaurant. There seems to be no microwaves on site and the mini fridge in the room was loaded with expensive beverages. It was not meant to insert your own items. There’s actually a sensor that charges you if you even touch any of the drinks and snacks in the room. Overall, I would consider staying again, but it would not be my first choice.

Horrible checkin / checkout... Would never stay there again...Double charged me entire stay and still fighting to get someone to refund 2nd one that is so clearly a duplicate for same stay....

Construction everywhere. No rythm or reason to passages. Unable to look across any room to see what you might have wanted too find. Had to wait on room repair before I could go up, then the toilet stopped working on the second day and was never fixed. Air conditioning was great! Staff decided I needed a welfare check for reasons unknown, then the officer who showed up could do nothing without a hotel representative who never showed. I finally just left them in the room. Three days of gambling and over 5k spent with no noticeable win and only three bonuses. Then, when I went to leave I waited two hours for a taxi That the hotel taxi concierge was evidently unable to help find with the ability to carry my Mobility Scooter. Finally just called an uber myself. Take your pick, any one of these things was enough for me to never ever go back. I have never had such a worthless experience before.
