Forfaits vacances – Maavarulu

Absolutely fantastic stay- we were met at Male airport and looked after to our flight to Ifuru Island which is outstanding. All the staff looked after us with extreme courtesy and were extremely welcoming. Everywhere was very clean and cared for and the food very variable and to a high standard. Snorkelling was amazing we saw fish/stingrays/reef sharks/turtles/ resident heron. On our return we were met again at Male airport and looked after and helped to check in for our flight home. Cannot recommend this Island strongly enough ! ALL the staff were very dedicated and very hard working and so sorry can’t remember everyone’s names but very much felt a warm/friendly/family atmosphere. Shout out to: Monika, Tharaka, Sara, Diva, Donni, manager of waterfront(sorry don’t know name), Shiyaau, Basse, Pradeeb, Shiva, Raazan, Juli, Ahmed, Fraish (sorry if spelt wrong - captain of Komomo) thank you to everyone for a very special holiday

Séjour reposant et tres dépaysant dans ce cadre sauvage et qui a su conserver son cachet loin des resorts modernes et bétonés. Une ambiance très détendue, sans chichi, du personnel très souriant et accueillant. Un côté de l'île est plus sauvage et l'autre donne sur le lagon plus calme, mais les 2 ont leurs charmes et tout est facilement accessible à pieds. Même en saison des pluies, nous avons été ravis de notre séjour. La formule all inclusive est très bien et nous a permis de tester tous les restaurants de l'île et fonctionne jusqu'à départ de l'île. A renouveler avec plaisir.

We had a wonderful stay at The Standard, Maldives. The island is beautiful, the water is stunning, and the atmosphere is relaxed but still very special. The villa was comfortable, the food was very good, and the team made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. A special mention to Youssef, who was extremely kind, professional, and helpful. He really made a difference with his attention, warmth, and the way he cared about the small details. It is people like him who make a hotel experience feel personal and memorable. We left with great memories and would definitely recommend The Standard, Maldives to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing island escape.
