The hotel was originally a convent. The inside was all stone and beams. Very unusual and lovely. Offered breakfast on site. Well located to restaurants and patios. Close to the river and many things to do within walking distance.

Happy we chose the St Vincent
Concierge was very helpful (with a dry sense of humor!). Beautiful old building—updated. Quiet neighborhood. Small rooms, but fine for a short stay.

This property was great! Beautiful building, rooms were comfortable and spacious. The area was perfect; walk to historic sites, great neighborhoods, good shopping, excellent restaurants. You really can't go wrong. A word of caution, no parking onsite and area very crowded so parking a challenge. But, its because the area is amazing.

Lovely little hotel in a great location to the tourist area and Croix Rousse in Lyon. There are many restaurant options all within walking distance. Nice rooms with modern bathrooms but historic hallways. Would stay here again.

Excellent hotel
The hotel is very nice . Our room was very specious and very well decorated. The bathroom was nice and a very decent size. Very happy with the room . Breakfast was extra and definitely I would recommend to get it. The location of the hotel is excellent. Many attractions in walking distance.

Excellent location for touring old Lyon quarters. Helpful, friendly staff. Simple, updated room with large bathroom. Continental breakfast available in lobby, restricted but adequate space

Great updated rooms - Excellent Service!
We had a great stay at Hotel Saint-Vincent. Check in was at 2, which was very helpful. The rooms was updated with new bathroom, TV and furniture. They offered a paid continental breakfast (7euros) which was very convenient. But, the best thing was the service. We had a 9am train to catch. We did not realize taxis do not run until 8:30 and at 8am we were stuck. The man at the front deck went out of his way calling many cab companies to get us to our train on time. When no taxis were available he continued to work on ways to get us to help and suggested a close bus route. We would have missed out train for sure without his help. I would highly recommend this hotel to stay.

A wonderful place to stay.
Wow, wow and wow again! A fabulous hotel bursting with character and attentive excellent staff. A great base for exploring Lyon. Highly recommend and will hopefully be back to visit again very soon.

Staff was terrific. Place very clean. Walk out the front door, turn right and there is the Saône. Many boulangeries, patisseries, and restaurants close by. We would stay there again.

Beautiful hotel, fabulous rooms, the staff was very helpful, the only minor issue is there was no lift. The stair case is beautiful, well lit, and the staff was happy to help with the bags.

I always use this hotel for business trips to Lyon. It is very central, you can walk over the bridge and into the old [part of the City in about 10/15 minutes. The rooms are minimalist, but sufficient for short stays, the rooms are clean and comfortable. You can purchase a continental breakfast for Euros 7.00. Not a hotel for the physically challenged though as no lift and lots of stairs. Overall I recommend for short stays.

Hotel in Lyon
We generally regard ourselves as fairly tolerant and enjoy adventures but the stay at the hotel was not pleasant. The hotel was going through a refurbishment as was quite messy. We could not shut our hotel door and had to lock ourselves in. The room did not have air-conditioning and we were forced to sleep with the windows open all night but could not sleep as the noise from the street below was very loud. The room did not have tea or coffee making facilities and you had to pay for a coffee if you wanted one. We tried to have our room changed due to the noise but were told it would cost an addition 11 euros!!!

Amazing staff, charming little hotel.
I booked for two nights but wound up staying for three, this hotel is nicely tucked away down a side street just off of the main tourist destinations. All of the staff are extremely plesant and helpful, I would come back simply because of them! It is very easy to access transit, tourist destinations and many authentic places to eat. The hotel is beautifully renovated and has a lot of charm. The room I had was room #4, it served its purpose as I didn't need anything fancy. The room was fairly small but fair for the price. It could use a new coat of paint! Overall I would recommend this hotel, thank you again to all of the wonderful staff!

Excellent old building with interesting interior.
We were very pleased to stay in such a historical building with beautiful walls and comfortable rooms without the usual trappings. The staff were very polite and helpful which we found genuine and useful with the guardianship of such an interesting building. Unfortunately, there was quite a bit of intrusive noise outside, early on both of our mornings there, which we put down to refuse collection from the narrow adjacent alleyways. Also to the Hotel's detriment there was no parking facilities which caused some inconvenience upon arrival but with the helpful reception guidance we were soon reassured with parking suggestions. So all in all an excellent find for a city centre Hotel with no frills.

First off, the room is so small, that if they are charging a low price it is because they are giving you almost no room to move. The service was poor. He charged me for two days when i canceled a reservation and pretended not to speak English well, so it was pointless to argue with him. The hotel does not have air condititioning despite making serious money on a a huge property. So if they put you in the back, and it is a warm day, you will sleep in a sauna, or not sleep at all, like i did. Then they did not want to refund money for the poor quality and lack of basic hotel attributes. Spend your money wiser.

I booked in for an overnight stay with a business colleague. The rooms are fairly basic and having wooden floorboards, a bit noisy but were clean and the bed reasonably comfortable. I did miss having a mirror in the main room. Despite being in a central location we did not experience any great noise levels. Breakfast was continental and quite adequate.

Nice small hotel.
The hotel is very nice. The location ins very good, walking distance from Vieux Lyon, but out of all the noise. We had a very hot night during our stay and it would have helped for the hotel to provide us with a fan.
