Lyon County Vacation Packages

Margaritaville was a good hotel, but rather pricey for the the lack of amenities. We stayed in August, and there is only an indoor pool. Although the valet was very convenient, and the attendants were super friendly, it is an additional $50 per day. This is a crazy price in the summer for a small town with not much to do on the main 3-block strip other than eat and shop. During our 6 night trip, housekeeping only came in to only make the beds and take the garbage twice, and change our towels once. We had to ask for more towels, shampoo, and body soap. The buffet breakfast is $25/person, which is pretty normal, but there are not a ton of options for that price. The scrambled eggs were wet, the bacon was barely cooked, our pancakes were cold, and there was only 2 types of fruit. The fresh omelet station was the only good food item. But, the omelet chef and the rest of the staff were great. It’s hard to pay that much for the same food multiple days. The steakhouse in the hotel was fantastic, but be ready with your checkbook. It was a very nice hotel but for the total cost, I don’t think we’d stay here again.

Excellent accommodations for the price. Very quiet area. Located close to the lake and other attractions. Only negative I have is the rooms are pretty dated.
