« In our 50's and young at heart, my wife and I really needed some one-on-one time to relax and regroup, and this stay was the perfect opportunity to accomplish that. The cottage is perfect in it's location, amenities, and provisioning in terms of a comfortable, quiet, serene, and beautiful sanctuary in which to rest. The pillows are awesome...just sayin! The host is well practiced in what I would describe as "true southern hospitality", and goes above and beyond expectations in a friendly and...

« It was a perfect setup for multiple families to meet. It was nice to have a separate place for kids to play games and the adults. As far as cleanliness goes, it could have been better. There was black mold around the tops of the kitchen sinks. The floor were dusty and dirty. There was hair in the showers, on the walls. Overall, I would definitely stay again. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchen dishes. »

« Loved the cabin and the property, the koi pond was definitely a group favorite. Everything was absolutely beautiful and the owners were very quick to respond! I will say this is probably not a place for large groups the kitchen was very small, gorgeous, but only built for a few people. »

« The home was very clean and spacious to be a smaller home. The outbuilding was a great addition for our family so we had plenty of room to spread out. The environment was peaceful and relaxing. The neighbors were super nice, and were actually one of the reasons we enjoyed our trip so much. We all caught fish and had a great time just getting back to nature. The kids learned alot and we saw plenty of wildlife in the back yard, including an armadillo! The host was great, she kept us informed...

« Pets welcome. Nice deck view and lots of wildlife. Bedrooms & bedding were clean but other areas not cleaned for some time - lamp shades, curtains, area & throw rugs were very dusty & dirty. Deck & cushions were extremely dirty. Driveway warning was given but still very steep and rough. »

« The host is very good at communicating clearly and promptly, which is so important when you haven’t been to either the town or the property before. The house had loads of little touches which made it feel like you were staying at a friend’s place rather than some corporate property. Bonus: Lots of little options for our dog, too, all while being clean, comfortable, and homey. I could have stayed longer. Their attention to communication and various details with the house made it a lot easier to...
