"This property is ideally located within the city. It was an easy walk to downtown, the city marina, and the city beach and park. The lower part of Dock House is definitely themed for the lake and contained everything we needed. It was just two of us, and although it contained beds for 5, we think it would seem small unless kids made up some of that number. We cooked for most of our meals and there were pots, pans, utensils, and dishes for everything we made. We hope to be back!"

We had our Golden Retriever with us there were two beautiful beaches there we could take her off leash and let her swim, one worth checking out is Butterville Park/Beach about 15-20 minutes away. Everything we needed was within 20 minutes of the cottage. John was a great host and answered any questions we had. We hope to get back again soon."

The pool was wonderful, the beds were comfy, the breakfast was good, but our room was a little messy... like they hadn't vacuumed, or maybe the cheese puff was too big to fit in the vacuum... Also, our toilet seat felt like it was going to fall off. Overall, I would stay again though, because we slept really well and my daughter enjoyed the pool."
