Very old and tiny room. Clean though had. A fire pit and nice landscaping. It was okay when you just sleep and leave early in morning. Bed was. A bit uncomfortable

I loved how nice my room was. If I could give it 10 stars I would. So clean. Loved the walk in shower. Bed was comforty. I also felt very safe.

My wife and I along with our dog Ranger were going to the Jeep Silver Lake dunes rally at the end of May and I found the Last Resort Motel by googling and reading reviews. We then arrived and could not believe the quaint little motel just down the road from a lot of things in Hart and around the dunes. The hospitality was awesome. The room was very clean. Came with all the amenities like microwave, stove top, refrigerator, coffee maker and cooking necessities like pans plates silverware. The air conditioner was so cold and Ranger had plenty of room in the room and outside. I would recommend the Last Resort to anybody that would like a nice simple motel. One that’s dog friendly clean and just an overall great venue for the price. The owner Carrie was super nice and so easy to work with from beginning to end!

Cozy motel, 15 minutes away from Silver lake sand dunes. So perfect if you're spending a weekend at the dunes. Right outside of Hart which is a neat little town to vist. I would say this is a really nice place to stay, it was quite, felt safe, they had activities outside, bonfire at night. And the room was clean, sheets smelt clean!

I love the fact that the people are so friendly. The owner remembered me and she was kind and they were so helpful and just a lot of fun to even talk to. She remembered my last trip and where I went and she was just so friendly like having a friend every time I go see her.

The place was perfect for my stay. The ladies in the office were very nice and welcoming! My check in was really easy. The room was very clean and nice. It looked newly renovated. For a place on the roadside it is a really nice place to stay at a great value. I'd definitely recommend it to someone and plan on staying here again when I'm up this way.

I like the fact that it was away from the road so you didn’t heat traffic. It felt cozy. The room was clean and had everything you needed in there. The owner was so friendly. I have another trip planned to go up there and I will be staying with them for sure great place and great people.

A very nice, quiet motel in Hart Michigan. Call on your way in to receive your door key code. There is no need to visit the front desk. Nice, well kept interior furnishings and bedding. Outdoor seating, picnic table a lovely quiet fire pit with all the free wood you need for a restful evening. Stop at Hansens grocery on the road in from Hart for the best deli meats and beer and wine in Michigan. Highly recommend motel

Property is older but owners are working on remodeling. They were very friendly and when there was a maintenance issue it was resolved immediately. Bed was very comfortable. One thing that would be nice to have available in the room is a place to hang a few clothes.

Comfy Cozy

Nice and cozy, I was able to adjust the temperature, take a hot bath and shower, wrap up in a full size towel, have a cup of hot coffee and curl up and read a good book, then made so microwave pop corn and watch a movie with my husband. Nice size fridge for all my hubbies snakes. Customer service was GREAT!!

The owner was so lovely, I booked the hotel for my festival the wrong date and she was luckily able to move my reservation. New ownership and definitely a lot cleaner than it was and very welcoming! Very pleased with our stay, the only thing I would’ve liked was better curtains or draw string blinds and the air conditioner gets really hot and the long curtains are resting on it and that made me a bit nervous. They had a fridge inside too which was awesome and just an overall very pleasant stay! Definitely will be back for next years festival!

Check in went very smoothly; staff was very courteous. This motel was clean, but appearance suggest they are in the process of updating/rehabing the property. There was an issue with the tv; my son went to office and the gentleman promptly remedied the matter--he could watch the baseball game!! I hope they are able to continue updating; great location!
