However over a month before the trip, I tried to cancel due to an illness/ hospitalization in my extended family. I tried cancelling and getting a refund, and the hotel wouldn’t refund with over a months advance notice. « Room was definitely dated. Fan in the bathroom needs to be replaced - judging by the noise it was making it has been out of commission for a long time. Front desk staff said ice machine is broken. Views were wonderful and the area is a lot of fun. »
