« We had a great stay in this quaint little home. Nice neighborhood with a one minute walk to nearby lake. Quick drive into downtown Grand Haven as well. Host strolled over for a short visit and offered recommendations for local eateries. Very enjoyable! »

« All aspects of this property met our expectations except for the bedroom situation. The property is listed as 5 bedrooms, but only one bedroom (new addition) has full walls. The other 4 bedrooms have open rafter ceiling which makes each room connected as far as noise is concerned. If you are traveling with other couples, this may not be advantageous. That being said, the location is great and the view from the deck is lovely. Jay is also a very gracious host. »

« House was great, you can walk down the steps & literally get in the water of Lake Michigan. There are a lot of steps to get down there so not for someone with walking issues. House is cute, clean & has a great deck to sit out on & excellent lake access. Location is very rural & literally have to drive down dirt roads & hills to get to the house. Nothing serious but I was surprised. »

« This cabin is OLD. But in the best way. It has original detail, with some modern amenities. While I personally thought it was charming, I could see how others might not. Aesthetically, the owner has excellent taste and everything worked together. But there were areas that could use some maintenance/updates. « Home had everything you could imagine - we had fires on the deck, watched beautiful sunsets, shared meals and laughs. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with plenty of living space for us to spread out. So many bathrooms made things smooth when getting ready to explore the area. The beach was fabulous. Parking was the only slight complaint and we made it work. »

« Location perfect. Across the street from a park. Within easy walking distance of Pierre Marquette Beach and even closer to another nice smaller beach- the Cove-where the water is a little warmer. Beach restaurant also very close. Spent a lot of time on the deck of the property. On the channel between Lakes Michigan and Muskeegon, so great place for walks. Owner met us there and was easy to communicate with. »

« Enjoyed our stay here immensely. The home was clean, comfortable, nice quiet location (although we had to deal with some construction noise that is NOT a normal occurrence so no reflection on the owners) Nice well stocked kitchen, but we were only here for short stay and didn't cook a meal there. « This was a rather last minute booking, so to find something this perfect to be available was a real surprise. The property had everything we needed, could use some upgrades to the patio furniture ..of the two chairs provided, when we moved the back cushion of one we noticed the entire backing was blown out, and the second one began to crack during our stay, so we had to get creative with borrowing chairs from my brother who fortunately lives in town.
