"Lovely villa with outstanding staff, a fantastic breakfast, and an excellent "outdoor" (glass-enclosed, heated, and probably cooled in summer) restaurant looking into the gardens. Too early in the season for the pool. All-in-all a thoroughly delightful time."

The only thing I missed was a shelf in the bathroom to place toiletries etc. They have a very civilised system for residents to have easy access to free tea, coffee, cold drinks and pastries etc during their stay, located just by Reception. A really nice place to stay, only a short walk from all of Lucca's amenities. Very close to the Elisa portal within the old walls. "
