The hotel was very close to everything.We got to see the red carpet and some stars. The pool was lovely and eating by the pool was great. The only negative was the concierge.

Unfortunately I stayed when they were preparing for the Globes. Lots of building work, pool area closed, entrance closed to taxis and security stopping free movement. Top floor restaurant was flat, no energy, I needed to feel more special to be worthy of a second visit. Inadequate bar, no atmosphere, just off the main lobby and closed at 10:30pm. On the whole staff were very good. But overall not good enough for an iconic 4* hotel. Disappointing.
