We stayed here for NYE and a few days after that -- I had booked this hotel months in advance. When we got there, there was an unusual amount of security which I didn't mind. We ended up finding out Justin Bieber was performing a concert there that evening (we didn't know or care). We were paying hotel guests (rooms are upwards of $350/night), but had to go through metal detectors with our belongings searched everytime we left the lobby. We were constantly questioned if we needed to leave the property (to get food or just drive around the city). We were constantly asked to show our room key before allowing us into a HALLWAY where our room was situated, and treated as subpar by the staff and hotel concierge, just because we didn't pay to see Bieber, but instead were just "regular" paying hotel guests with someone monitoring every move we made (not allowed to walk around the hotel or even in the parking garage to get to our car -- we had to be escorted). I understand he's a celebrity, but this hotel's guests should not be treated as inferior just because we're not famous. Such a disappointing experience. Also, no amenities. Yeah I get it, covid.
