Beach House Walking Distance from Pier

This is a newly remodeled unit with granite counter and ceramic tile floors in the kitchen and baths, all cookware, plates, utensils, etc... It has a queen bed with a Sealy Posturepedic Mattress and mirrored closet doors and a linen closet. It has new bamboo floors a new paint (11/2020). The couch has a queen sleeper mattress. We provide backpack beachchairs and beach towels. It has a 47' TV with Direct TV and High Definition DVR. There is wireless Internet access. It is a quite neighborhood within walking distance to the beach, Redondo Pier and shops. There are full size washer and dryer, dishwasher and refrigerator with ice maker and filtered water. There is a small porch with BBQ.

Great Vrbo - super well stocked!

Great property, the host was really clear and easy to deal with and the location was central and easy to walk to many places. Our suite was super well stocked in the bathroom and kitchen and with the bedding. We had more than enough towels, bedding, toilet paper and paper towels for 4 women for 5 nights. Overall lovely and cozy place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and located in a nice neighborhood, close to many of the attractions we wanted to visit. It had all the amenities we needed, and check in and out was very easy. Having 1 and a half bathrooms was a real plus. Jennifer is a great host. Would highly recommend.

We’re seniors and the only problem was the door.

Aside from being in the back of the property it was fully equipped, nicely decorated and functional. The door was a problem because it often stuck and hard to open. Aside from that we had a very good stay and visit with our family.

Comfort, Convenience, and Value

This accommodation was great! In addition to the full master bath, there is also a half bath, which gave us both a place to get ready before heading out. The living room has a very comfortable sectional in front of a big screen TV. There is a full size dining room table, and the kitchen was fully stocked, so we saved some money by eating in a meal or two each day. The apartment is located on the ground level behind the main house, and it was very quiet. The neighborhood is safe, and street parking was fairly easy to find. The host responded quickly when we had questions, and she provided many towels and bicycles for our use. We plan to stay here again.

Felt at Home

The apartment is great! It has everything you could need. It would definitely work for a longer short term rental, like a semester or travel nurse, etc. We stayed a week. So the good…bed is comfy, spacious, nice new grill,stocked kitchen, clean. Bad (no place perfect), the TV is older and no smart TV so only direct TV, the internet is very slow in the bedroom and phone signal isn’t great so you need the internet. The host was not very quick to respond to questions. If we would have had a problem, it’s concerning it took her 24 hrs to respond or more. Sheets did not further bed so I was trying to make the bed each night I would stay again though for sure

Redondo Beach Stay

It was a pretty place. Quiet area, which was nice. I do think if you’re going to advertise amenities, they should be clean. For example, the coffee machine was very dirty. The grill was rusted, and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. The outside sitting area was full of leaves and dust. I did also have a package that was signed for, and I never received. Which I thought was odd, because the owner of the unit received had a package waiting for her with no issues. Other than those things, it was lovely to stay there.

Our Stay In Redondo

All in all a great listing, clean, well equipped and great location, about the only minus points I would give are as follows: It would have been helpful to have an info sheet, with the host contact info, emergency numbers, house rules, and the most important for myself as a business traveler, the WiFi password. I worked for a vacation rental company nearly 3 years and we always recommended that hosts have an info sheet at the listing, and in our case it would have been essential to have internet access. The next thing would be to inform the guests that there are tenants living in the adjacent flat, not a major issue but one of the tenants had pretty heavy feet when walking around above our flat. Finally, I would advise the host to have a carpenter fix the door, it sticks and was difficult to open and close, my wife was unable to open it at all, this could be a concern if a guest staying alone at the listing need to get inside quickly, it would take maybe a 10 minute bit of sanding to fix the problem. Other than those minor points it's a great flat in a great location for anyone wanting to visit the south bay beach area.

Lovely clean property located on the edge of Redondo Beach and Hermosa Beach. Great gluten free bakery, Kirari bakery, which was on the way to a playground at South Park for our daughter. Also, great coffee nearby at The Boy & the Bear. Hermosa Beach was about 25 mins walk away with lots of great food places, shops and, of course, the fabulous beach.
