We were also surprised to find that our room was not in the same building as the lobby, but in a separate building some 200 feet down the block without any lobby or common space what so ever. We were told that this was expressly pointed out on the web description. If it is, I'm missing where it is located, as I still can't find it. When advising the hotel manager of our disappointment, we were treated rudely and told that "a child could find it". Everyone has a bad day from time to time, so the rudeness is forgivable, but it doesn't alter the fact that it is not disclosed, nor does it change the fact that the room (at least in the second building) was small. The staff were friendly too, saying hello whenever we went out or came back, and they also allowed us to leave a suitcase for a few hours after we checked out. Would recommend and will stay here again.
