reception staff on our arrival were cheerful and welcoming, rooms were pleasant but for the price charged, I would have expected more for our money.
Found blood on the pillows, duvet cover and bottom sheet and housekeeping changed the linen but this should have been seen by the hotel staff and dealt with before guests are confronted with the issue.
Checked out the ground floor bar for a brief drink and literally ordered at the bar and took the two drinks myself to the nearest table and I was loaded with a 12% service charge for basically being passed two bottles of corona.
On check out, the mood of the two reception staff one woman & one man, were not exactly welcoming and were only concerned with making sure my payment card was handed over to settle the account, which had been pre-paid in full and just required the bar bill settling, which I duly handed over and paid my dues in full.
When I then enquired as to what their comments were about the bed linen issue in our room, the duty manager of the day, who would only give his name as Chris and refused to give his surname, basically was not the slightest bit interested in our issue of blood stained bed linen and when I Verbally pushed for further thoughts comments, nothing at all was forthcoming and I accordingly said with my hand clasped to my ear, is that all you have to say, to which he then begrudgingly said, sorry I suppose. Absolutely down right rude, arrogant and totally disinterested of a person who’s duty manager!
