Staff were great! The room just looked a bit older, like toilet seats don’t fit correctly and shower heads are worn. The breakfast was good and do change daily. They also provide water bottles daily.

On arrival the reception staff discussed local things to do and places to eat over a welcome drink and snack. Meanwhile another member of staff had been to switch on the aircon in our room.
Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The breakfast buffet varies most days, which makes a lovely change.
It was a 15 minute walk to the night market, but you should download Grab (similar to Uber), which was very reasonable, if you wish to visit places any further.

"I had a wonderful stay at sapa yen. There is no electronics in the room for the quiet retreat vibes. Took some getting used to but it was definitely what I needed to unplug. Room and hotel is very clean. Close to sapa station and you can view the train to fansipan from the hotel."
