"We had a lovely time at the cottage! Thanks! The view from the deck overlooking the beach is terrific. Everyone had a great time A couple of items to note: The refill valve in the toilet in the upstairs bathroom needs adjustment (continues to run unless tank lid is removed and valve is manually pushed down); it would be great to have an anti-slip mat for the shower/tub and a handrail on front porch; a bold notice in property details, emails, etc. Indicating that there is no cellphone coverage at the cottage (!)...that came as a BIG surprise!"

"We loved the house, all its amenities and the location. It was perfect for our family of 11. The children loved the games, video games and close proximity to the lake and many activities.The owners were welcoming and responsive and seemed to have thought of everything to make our stay wonderful."

"Wonderful place. Huge deck was perfect for our small grandkids to play on, even a toddler gate. Short flight of steps, then a short trek down a sand hill to the beach. A creek running parallel to lake shore was great for the toddlers. They loved all the soft sand. The shed was full of toys and chairs for everyone, the sun shield worked out great! Beautiful sunsets every night, we even made s’mores at the fire pit. The house was well equipped and beds were comfy. Perfect for our family of 7 adults and 4 small children. "
"We had an awesome stay - 16 people including kids and plenty of room. We had everything we needed in the space and an incredibly responsive host. Kids could safely play in the back yard and fish off the dock (water is shallow) and kayak (provided!). We would kayak and canoe to Silver Lake every day. Location was perfect. We didn’t swim in the water but we were 5 minutes from Lake Michigan which was perfect. Look forward to coming back! "

"The location was great! The beach was beautiful! The kitchen had all the equipment we needed, but the beds were terrible. The master bed sloped to the left and was incredibly noisy and there was dog hair throughout the house. "

"Comfortable and scenic. Right on a little creek. Wildlife sightings on the back deck. Well furnished. Brad, the owner, was accessible and prompt with help when things didn’t work. Had an internet outage in area and little cell phone connection. Dryer needed a new part and was fixed during our stay. We were fortunate that it was cool enough that the lack of a/c wasn’t a problem (at temps above 85 it could be). Our family enjoyed the nearness to the beach and the amenities offered. Note: lots of stairs to navigate but there are handrails. "
"The rental is stocked with lots of things to do. We appreciated the beach supplies and games. It is close to the beach, but the beach access is small area where the river connects to Lake Michigan. We enjoyed the Lighthouse Beach down the street, definitely family friendly. Quick drive to Silver Lake. We enjoyed being close to everything but just far enough from the crowds. "
